Colorado Psychiatric Access and Consultation for Kids (C-PACK) approached us with the need for an easy to manage website and some specific functionally. They were on a grant-funded budget, so we worked together to prioritize their requirements and collaborate in selecting an attractive WordPress theme that we could quickly customize for their specific needs. We also carefully selected plugins that would meet their functional requirements while staying within the grant’s budget. These requirements included a searchable health care provider location map and listing, and a calendar displaying event management system. We were able to implement each of these features by writing custom code to customize WordPress plugins, specifically Store Locator Plus, and Events Manager. After we provided a little bit of WordPress training, they were on their way and had full control of an attractive and full-featured WordPress site to promote their program, and provide behavioral health clinicians and families with essential tools for children’s behavior health.
