Custom Vacation Rental Website with OwnerRez Integration
Cozy River Cabin Retreat is a riverside vacation rental located near Mount St. Helens in Castle Rock, Washington. The goal of the project was to create a warm, inviting website that reflected the setting while also giving the owner full control over bookings, content, and guest experience.
We designed and built the site as a custom WordPress installation integrated directly with OwnerRez, allowing guests to book their stay directly on the website without being redirected to third-party platforms. The integration handles availability calendars, rates, reservations, reviews, and other core vacation rental features, while keeping the site fast and easy to use on both desktop and mobile.
Beyond the booking functionality, the site includes detailed local guides to help guests plan their trip, including things to do near Mount St. Helens, hiking destinations like Ape Cave, fishing spots along the Toutle River, and seasonal tips for visiting the area. Content was structured using a hub-and-spoke approach so guests can easily explore nearby activities while also supporting long-term organic search visibility.
The overall design emphasizes clarity, performance, and a calm, natural feel that matches the cabin’s setting. The result is a site that works as both a direct-booking platform and a practical planning resource for visitors.
